Fundación Esperanza y Alegría and “33 El Musical” sign an agreement that will destine part of the merchandising earnings to projects in India and Spain

Fundación Esperanza y Alegría and “33 El Musical” have signed a collaboration agreement so that 2.5% of net sales of online and offline products from “33 El Musical”, will go to Fundación Esperanza y Alegría. This money will help finance the projects in India and Spain that benefit thousands of children, people with disabilities, women, families and disadvantaged people in general.

The show premiers this Thursday, November 22 in Espacio 33, an enclosure of 7.000 m2 located at Ifema, Feria de Madrid, and created solely for this project. This big production narrates the story of Jesus like never before; it is a moving story that will become the musical phenomenon of the year.

The play is directed by Toño Casado, author, composer and director; and produced by Felipe García-Quirós and Nacho Alonso de White Kite. It is made up of a cast of 27 actors, some of which are artists that have participated in television series and big musicals and contests such as Operación Triunfo and La Voz.

The professionals that make up the creative and technical teams of this project have extensive experience from having worked in musicals such as “The Lion King”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Billy Elliot”, “Mamma Mia”, “The Bodyguard”, “Phantom of the Opera”, “40 El Musical”, “Today I Can´t Get Up”, among many others.

At a production level, “33 El Musical” will also be counting with videomapping, a scenic resource only seen in big Broadway and UK musicals. This play promises to offer a unique experience in a spectacular space. This November 22, when the curtain opens, the history of musicals in Spain will be changed forever.
