Improve, through nursing, the functional situation of the old, their self-sufficiency and overall provide them with the dignity and quality of life they deserve.

The Foundation City of Hope and Joy financed and equipt a nursing room in the “Montserrat Caballe” residence that the Messengers of Peace NGO has in Madrid. They specialize in the care and treatment of patients suffering from Alzheimer´s disease.
The patients receive integral personalized attention that covers their physical, mental and social needs. The principal activities of this center are prevention and follow up care of all their patients in the day care. At the moment of admission a clinical history is performed to evaluate their general condition.
The center counts with 70 professionals including doctors, nurses and auxiliaries who provide all the necessary services for the ill.
This center also has a staff of DUES- ATS that largely collaborates with medical team in the treatment of different illnesses of the patients.
The center has capacity for 166 spaces for residents with Alzheimer and palliative care and 40 spaces for the Day Care.
